Four divisions: I, II, III, IV

The VPA is also the governing body for middle level school baseball. Bylaws and policies are also listed there.

Professional:

Vermont Lake Monsters: Based in Burlington. Major League Baseball Short Season Class A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Home park is historic Centennial Field.

Collegiate Summer League:

Vermont Mountaineers: Based in Montpelier and play in the NECBL. Home park is Recreation Field.

Many American Legion teams exist in Vermont and server a large geographical region to offer players ages 15-19 opportunities.
